Truman

Baby Truman as he is known around here has been with us for a week. My sister has been nagging at me to put new pictures of him up. He is becoming our little chunk. He seems like he is a bottomless pit sometime. He has become one of the family and it seems like he has been here forever.

Jeremy

On Monday it was Jeremy's 32 birthday. With all of the craziness of the weekend it seemed to just pass. But I just wanted to say how much I love my husband. He is truly my best friend. I don't know what I would do without him in my life. He is one of he hardest workers that you will every meet and always puts people before himself. He stayed righ by my side through everything on Suday. So Happy Birthday Jeremy, I love you so much. I hope that you have a great year.

Baby Truman

Truman Douglas Horn has arrived. He was born Sunday May 18 at 10:06. He was 8 lbs 1 ounce and 20 inches long. It was a hard delivery due to the medication not working but we are happy he is here. Caleb and Emma adore him and want to help me with whatever I am doing. He rarely cries but when he needs something. He loves to cuddle which is fine with me. Out of all of the kids he looks like his daddy the most. He does have a little more tint of red in his hair but I am sure it will go blonde. We are home and just relaxing. Thanks for the calls and prayers. We are doing great.

My new car

So we have offically switched over. My durango is long gone and we got a mini van. I thought I would never drive one. Most of you know I had one when I turned 18 and said never again once I traded it in. But with gas prices the way they are and having another baby any day. It just made since. It is a 2007 dodge grand caravan. It drives very nice, and so far I am really enjoying it. Thank you Jeremy for a wonderful mother's day present. (he also got me my stroller and preordered the next twilight book, I really got spoiled.)

Preterm Labor and Stupid Doctors

So Saturday I felt like I was having contractions all day. Didn't really think anything of it just went about my day. About 5 that night they started getting consistant. So I thought I would start timing them. My last doctors appointment he said if they go on for an hour with them being just 10 min apart then I need to go in. But I didn't want to be sent home either so I waited 4 hours. I called the doctor on call and the hospital to get there oppinions to see if they thought i should come in. That was about 10. After I got off the phone with them they started getting worse. So I had called my mom to come out and stay with the kids. Jeremy got ready and I finished packing the bag thinking we wouldn't be coming home without Truman. We got in there shortly before midnight. They got me hooked up and told me that they would check me in a hour to see if I had done anything. Well it was a little more then a hour and I had dilated to a 2. The nurse never said that she would have me stay that we could wait a little longer. So about 4 she checked me again and said that I hadn't done anything else and that we could wait until 6 and she would call my doctor. So we decided to stay. The contractions at this point were 3 minutes apart and very painful. So at 6 she came back in and said we think that you are in labor but the doctor wants you to go home and have breakfast with your family and then come back later if the contractions are the same. At this point I was at a 3. I went home with contractions being less then 5 minutes apart. I was so angry. What do I have to do to stay, have my water break. I did exactly what the doctor had to me to do. So needless to say I am still pregnant and my doctor is going to get a mouth full on Wednesday when I go in for my appointment.
Sorry I am complaining so much. I am just sick of hospitals and Doctors who we pay so much to just not seem to care.

2 weeks left and counting.

So we are on the final count down. I went to the doctor on Wednesday and he offered to induce me on May 22. Of course I wouldn't turn it down. It is just nice to have a day in sight and not wonder when it is going to happen. I still wonder if he will come before then which don't get me wrong would be nice. But either way I am ready. Caleb and Emma keep asking when Truman is going to come out. So they are very excited. This is me at 37 weeks.
